Harris Came Up Big in Sharyland's 70-33 Defeat
Starting off the list is Sharyland's Calvin Harris, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Harris threw for 372 yards and four touchdowns while completing 76.9% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. His passing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 315 passing yards dating back to last season.
For the year, Harris has thrown 19 touchdowns while averaging 292.3 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after six games last season, he was only averaging 15.67 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 74.33 rushing yards.

The victory snapped Mission Veterans Memorial's winning streak at six games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-5 record. Sarinana and Mission Veterans Memorial will square off against Sharyland at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Benjamin Martinez Goes Supernova in Mission Veterans Memorial Victory
Thanks in part to Benjamin Martinez, Mission Veterans Memorial said goodbye to their six-game losing streak dating back to last season. Hanna had no answer to Martinez on Friday as he picked up 89 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 41 yards.
This season, Martinez has caught those 2 touchdowns while averaging 46.3 receiving yards per game.

Aiden Uribe Turns in Another Game with at Least Six Total Tackles
Aiden Uribe continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his 18th-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least six total tackles. He forced a fumble and made 16 total tackles (3.0 for loss).
Unfortunately for Hanna, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Uribe. Uribe forced a fumble and made 17 total tackles (3.0 for loss) the last time he and the Golden Eagles duked it out back in September of 2023.

Rounding off our Top Five is Dylan Tijerina of Pioneer. Tijerina rushed for 111 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 51 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
The defeat snapped Pioneer's losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-2 record. Tijerina and Pioneer will take on Alice at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
