Waupun was the 66-45 winner over Homestead when they last played one another back in December of 2017, but their luck changed this time around. The Waupun Warriors lost to the Homestead Highlanders on the road by a 77-61 margin on Friday. The Warriors' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Waupun's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Homestead, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-1.

Waupun will take on Ripon at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Homestead, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Kaukauna at 6:15 p.m. on Saturday. Homestead knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Kaukauna likes a good challenge.
