St. Mary's-Colgan extended their winning streak  to five  on Saturday, bumping them up to 18-14. They came within a single  set of losing the streak, but they secured  a   2-1 W against the Frontenac Raiders. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  win the Panthers have posted  against the Raiders since October 16, 2021.
 Bella Ascanio paced St. Mary's-Colgan's offense, picking up 11 kills. Ascanio got some help from  Izzy Tierney and her 18 assists. Tierney was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with two aces.

 Despite the loss, Frontenac still got an impressive performance from   Laynee Shay, who  had 19  digs and two  assists.
 St. Mary's-Colgan has already played their next match,  a  2-0  loss against Maranatha Christian Academy on the 11th. As for Frontenac, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  matchup,  a  2-1  defeat against Jayhawk Linn on the 11th.
