Roncalli has been on the road for two straight, but on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Brillion Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
Last Tuesday, Roncalli lost to the Panthers on the road by a decisive 60-46 margin.
Meanwhile, Brillion pushed their score all the way to 58 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 69-58 to Mishicot. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Brillion in their matchups with the Indians: they've now lost five in a row.
Despite the loss, Brillion had strong showings from Emma Schuh, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds, and Camden Hale, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Schuh has scored all season. Amaya Brooks was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
Roncalli dropped their record down to 6-12 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Brillion, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-12.
Roncalli beat the Lions 52-43 in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Will Roncalli repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
