It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Lake Mary Rams can now relate to. They were the victim of a rough 36-10 defeat at the hands of Mandarin on Friday. It was the first time this season that Lake Mary let down their fans at home.
Noah Grubbs threw for 155 yards on 15 of 32 attempts. Caden Harshbarger was his top target, picking up 72 receiving yards.
It was another big night for Tiant Wyche, who rushed for 157 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.5 yards per carry, and also picked up 96 receiving yards and a touchdown. Wyche's longest reception was for an incredible 91 yards. Antoine Belgrave-shorter got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Lake Mary's defeat dropped their record down to 10-2. As for Mandarin, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-3.
Lake Mary does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Mandarin will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Seminole at 7:30 p.m. on November 24th. Seminole is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
