It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Moore County Raiders had no problem doing just that on Friday. They claimed a resounding 35-0 win over Eagleville on the road. Moore County's offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.
Dawson White continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 176 yards and three touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes, and also punching in a touchdown on the ground. Logan Hegwood and his 97 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Moore County's victory.
The win for Moore County keeps them at an undefeated 12-0. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 32.25 points. As for Eagleville, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5.
Moore County will be playing in front of their home fans against McKenzie at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. McKenzie is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Eagleville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
