Clay Center waltzed into their contest on Thursday with 13 straight wins... but they left with 14. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Central Plains Oilers. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Oilers, too.

Raimee Lipker paced Clay Center's offense, picking up ten kills. Lipker got some help from Raicee Lipker and her 22 assists. Raimee was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Clay Center's victory bumped their record up to 28-2. As for Central Plains, they dropped their record down to 10-17 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coincidentally, Clay Center and Central Plains will both be playing Smoky Valley the next time they take the court. The Oilers will head out to face the Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Tigers will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
