It was a good run, but Collingswood unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Haddon Heights Garnets. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Garnets earlier this season, when they won 5-4.

Collingswood saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Yon Anderson, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run.

Collingswood now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Haddon Heights, their win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Collingswood will host Camden Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Haddon Heights, they will welcome Haddonfield at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
