Jaren Garrison Turns in Season-Best  Performance
 Sadly,  Jaren Garrison posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Little River over Central Plains on Friday. Garrison rushed for 169 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries, good enough to  set a new career-high in  rushing yards in the process. He has become a key player for Little River: the team is undefeated when he posts  at  least  100  rushing yards, but 1-2 otherwise.
 This season,  Garrison  has run in 9 touchdowns while averaging 96.7 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season,  he was only averaging one  rushing yard per game.

 Solomon took down Canton-Galva  on Friday, a win that might not have happened without  Carlos Duran's performance. Duran turned in nothing short of a gem, picking up 207 receiving yards and three touchdowns. He showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 68 yards.
 Solomon's victory  ended  a  seven-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 2-5. Duran will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant  effort when he faces off against Little River on Friday.

Coup Posts Huge Game in  38-36  Victory
  Breken Coup posted a new career-high in  rushing yards  on Friday. He threw for 272 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 13.6 yards per attempt.
 On the season,  Coup  has thrown 6 touchdowns (and  and only 1 pick) while averaging 140.8 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive:  after four games last season,  he was only averaging 29.43  passer rating per game. This year he is averaging 100.8  passer rating.

Matt Hamm-Jones Goes Supernova in Solomon Victory
 Another Solomon player making an appearance on this list is  Matt Hamm-Jones. He rushed for 126 yards and a touchdown.
 This year,  Hamm-Jones  has run in 7 touchdowns while averaging 66.1 rushing yards per game. He's  made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year,  he was only averaging 27.14  rushing yards per game.

Kole Riedy and Co. Win Fifth in a Row
 Rural Vista [Hope/White City] picked up their fifth consecutive win   on Friday thanks in part to  Kole Riedy. Hartford had no answer to  Riedy  as he rushed for 47 yards and a touchdown.
 Riedy will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Burlingame on Friday. Riedy will face off against  Timmy Roberts on Friday, the Bearcats' star rusher. Will the  contest be decided in the trenches? We'll have our answer very soon.
