Coronado was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 18-15 to the Cortez Colts. On the bright side, the 15- run effort marked the Dons' highest-scoring game to date.

Coronado's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Cortez, their victory ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-9.

While Coronado had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
