The Alexander Bulldogs will face off against the Clemens Buffaloes at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Alexander will be looking to extend their current 20-game winning streak.
While Alexander's victory against United wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bulldogs skirted past the Longhorns 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bulldogs have posted since August 22nd.
Alexander took United into a fifth set where they got it done with a eight-point win. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-19, 25-15, 20-25, 15-7.

Meanwhile, Clemens made easy work of Judson on Friday and carried off a 3-0 victory.
Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Clemens took every set by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-11, 25-11.
Alexander better keep an eye on Rebecca Jubela. She was instrumental in Clemens' win, getting seven digs and three aces.
Clemens was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.
Alexander's win bumped their record up to 29-4. As for Clemens, their victory bumped their record up to 18-21.
