The University Cougars scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They enjoyed a cozy 82-63 win over Freedom. Winning may never get old, but University sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead University to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ethan Adams, who scored 16 points along with eight assists and five steals. Adams has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 11 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Mo Kamara, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds.
University has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. As for Freedom, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-13.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. University will face off against Colonial at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Freedom, Freedom and Space Coast will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
