The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Coral Academy of Science - Reno in their matchups with Pershing County: they've now lost nine in a row.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Coral Academy of Science - Reno struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Pershing County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Raegan Burrows led the charge by scoring 18 points along with six rebounds and five steals. Burrows is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Yasmine McKinney was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Coral Academy of Science - Reno has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Pershing County, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-1.
