Quad Cities Christian had won three straight games and Zeke Lizano did his part to make it four on Tuesday. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Varsity Opponent with plenty of help from Lizano, who had 11 digs and four aces. He is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had 11 or more in each of the last 17 games he's played dating back to last season.

Quad Cities Christian never let Varsity Opponent on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-19, 27-25.

Quad Cities Christian's victory bumped their record up to 10-2.

Coming up, Quad Cities Christian will take on Westlake Christian Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Varsity Opponent, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Page on the 6th.
