It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Greeley County Jackrabbits can now relate to. They were dealt a 80-0 defeat at the hands of Cheylin on Friday. Greeley County has not had much luck with Cheylin recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Leading Cheylin to victory were Pablo Bermudez and Logan McCarty. Bermudez rushed for 87 yards and three touchdowns, while McCarty rushed for 62 yards and two touchdowns. Bermudez's longest rush was for an incredible 76 yards. Brady Ketzner also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Greeley County's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Cheylin, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.
Greeley County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Cheylin will head out on the road to face off against Ingalls at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Ingalls is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
