The Toll Gate Titans will head out on the road to square off against the Lincoln Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Toll Gate is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
Last Thursday, Toll Gate faced Exeter-West Greenwich in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Toll Gate fell 49-40 to Exeter-West Greenwich.
After soaring to a 30-point victory in their last game, Lincoln came back down to earth on Thursday. They fell just short of Pilgrim by a score of 54-52.
Toll Gate's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Lincoln, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-6 record this season.
Toll Gate beat Lincoln 49-41 when the teams last played back in February of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Toll Gate since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
