Calvary Christian got themselves on the board against Fayetteville Street Christian on Monday, but Fayetteville Street Christian never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Patriots. The result was nothing new for the Cougar, who have now won six contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Calvary Christian's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Fayetteville Street Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.
