Having just played yesterday, the Native American Community Academy Eagles will get right back to it and host the Hozho Academy Wolves at 2:30 p.m. on February 10th. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses apiece.
On Friday, Native American Community Academy suffered a tough 56-30 loss at the hands of Menaul. Native American Community Academy has struggled against Menaul recently, as their matchup on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Makeda Casiquito, who scored 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Raine Edaakie, who scored ten points.
Meanwhile, Hozho Academy came up short against Corona/Vaughn on Saturday and fell 35-24.
Native American Community Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season. As for Hozho Academy, they dropped their record down to 6-10 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home.
