The Wiregrass Ranch Bulls will challenge the Nature Coast Tech Sharks at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Wiregrass Ranch is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last 16 games.
On Tuesday, Wiregrass Ranch made easy work of Central and carried off a 10-1 victory. Considering the Bulls have won nine games by more than eight runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Reagan Beagle made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over four innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three RBI.

In other batting news, Aubrey Zechmann was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four stolen bases and three runs. She has been hot for a while, having posted at least one stolen base the last nine times she's played. Another player making a difference was Chloe Troupe, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Wiregrass Ranch always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .516. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Central only posted an OBP of .227.
Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Nature Coast Tech's offense. They came up short against Mitchell on Tuesday, falling 18-0. The Sharks haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.
Wiregrass Ranch pushed their record up to 20-3 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Nature Coast Tech, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-11.
Wiregrass Ranch was able to grind out a solid win over Nature Coast Tech when the teams last played back in April of 2023, winning 5-1. Will the Bulls repeat their success, or do the Sharks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
