Berean Christian Academy's tough 53-28 defeat to Aurora Christian Academy might stick with them for a while. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no points scored by either team from that point forward.
Dawson Lewis was his usual excellent self, almost dropping a triple-double on 17 points, 10 rebounds, and 9 assists for Aurora Christian Academy. That makes it two consecutive games in which Lewis has scored at least 25% of Aurora Christian Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Stephen Atwell, who scored 11 points.
Berean Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Aurora Christian Academy, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-2.
Berean Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Aurora Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on January 9, 2024. Aurora Christian Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Bradford Christian at 5:00 p.m. on December 9th.
