Holy Innocents Episcopal's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Will Hopkins, who scored 23 points along with six assists and five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hopkins has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jordan Mays, who went 6 for 11 from beyond the arc en route to 20 points and 2 assists.
Holy Innocents Episcopal's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-6. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.0 points per game. As for Stone Mountain, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost ten of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.
Coincidentally, Holy Innocents Episcopal and Stone Mountain will both be playing Clarkston the next time they take the court. Stone Mountain will head out to face Clarkston at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Holy Innocents Episcopal will host them at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
