Florence is 1-8 against the Bobcats/Deer since December of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Florence Buffaloes will head out on the road to face off against the Comfort Bobcats/Deer at 6:15 p.m. The pair have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 13 consecutive losses for Florence and four for the Bobcats/Deer.
Last Tuesday, Florence came up short against the Warriors and fell 31-19.
Despite the loss, Florence got a solid performance out of Kaylie Hamm, who scored ten points.
Meanwhile, Comfort also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to the Panthers by a score of 44-34. Comfort has struggled against the Panthers recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Florence's loss was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-24. As for Comfort, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-17 record this season.
Florence came up short against the Bobcats/Deer when the teams last played back in January, falling 37-32. Can Florence avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
