Corcoran had won four straight games and Javon Bragg did his part to make it five on Wednesday. The stars were shining brightly for the Corcoran Panthers in a 98-79 victory over the Tulare Western Mustangs thanks in part to Bragg, who dropped a double-double on 41 points and 14 boards. That makes it seven consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Corcoran's points.

Another player making a difference was Julian Fernandez, who made all 5 shots he took for 14 points along with six assists and five boards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in assists.

Despite the loss, Tulare Western still got an impressive performance from Malachi Ficher, who went 17 of 31 on his way to 41 points and eight rebounds. That was a full 51.9% of Tulare Western's points, marking the third time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaine Garcia, who went 5 of 11 on his way to 16 points.

Corcoran's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Tulare Western, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-3.

Corcoran wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, an 80-73 victory against Immanuel on the 19th. As for Tulare Western, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 69-64 win against Coalinga on the 19th.
