The Timberline Blazers stacked a tenth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They claimed a resounding 69-26 win over River Ridge on the road. The victory was just what Timberline needed coming off of a 67-38 defeat in their prior game.
Leading Timberline to victory were Sierra Cordis and Shayla Cordis. Cordis dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds, while Cordis scored 35 points along with eight steals and seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Cordis has scored all season.
Timberline pushed their record up to 13-1 with that victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for River Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.
Timberline will head out on the road to take on Yelm at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Yelm will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings (they are ranked 228th, while Timberline is ranked 28th). As for River Ridge, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Gig Harbor at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Gig Harbor focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 last Wednesday.
