The Cascade Cadets lost against the Brownsburg Bulldogs back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Cascade was dealt a 68-31 loss at the hands of Brownsburg. Cascade has not had much luck with Brownsburg recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Cascade's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Connor Sanders, who scored seven points along with five assists.
Cascade's defeat was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 3-6. As for Brownsburg, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cascade will square off against Cloverdale at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Cloverdale is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak. Brownsburg is on the road again on Friday and play against Fishers at 7:30 p.m. on January 12th. Fishers has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 947 points over their last 13 games.
