The Wawasee Warriors will square off against the Goshen RedHawks at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
On Saturday, Wawasee earned a 10-7 victory over West Noble. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Finley Miller and Mark Haynes did most of the damage at the plate: Miller went 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double, while Haynes went 2-for-4 with four RBI, one run, and one double. Those two hits gave Haynes a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Hoffer, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Wawasee kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 2.9 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 contests they've averaged 9.4.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Goshen). They were the clear victors by a 15-3 margin over Concord on Friday. The RedHawks not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since April 30, 2024 (when they won 20-1).
Goshen got a massive performance out of Braxton Cline, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, three doubles, and two RBI. The RedHawks are undefeated when Cline posts two or more runs, but 2-10 otherwise. Colton Rapp was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
Goshen has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-10 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Wawasee, their victory bumped their record up to 2-18.
