The Adena Warriors will challenge the Unioto Shermans at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Adena sitting on three straight victories and Unioto on four.
On Monday, Adena made easy work of Southeastern and carried off a 13-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won nine contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

Adena got a massive performance out of Allie Bossert, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those three hits gave Bossert a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Adriana Guarnieri, who went 2-for-4 with two triples, two runs, and two RBI.
Meanwhile, Unioto earned a 9-4 victory over Westfall on Monday.
Kendal Walker spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on eight hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Macie Cox was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with four RBI and two runs. Another player making a difference was Maddie Tuttle, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI.
Unioto always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Unioto pushed their record up to 12-8 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for Adena, their win bumped their record up to 12-6.
Adena's speedy runners might be the difference in Wednesday's game. The Warriors have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.6 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Unioto, though, as they've been averaging only 1.4 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Adena continue to outrun the ball?
Adena might still be hurting after the 14-4 loss they got from Unioto when the teams last played two weeks ago. Will the Warriors have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other softball content.
