Thanks to that strong game, Ferguson now owns an excellent 46.3% shooting accuracy. Kelsey Peterson was another key player, putting up 11 points in addition to five assists and five rebounds.
Sierra suffered their first road defeat, dropping their record down to 12-8. As for The Classical Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-9.
Coming up, Sierra will host Elizabeth at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Sierra is facing Elizabeth at the right time seeing as Elizabeth is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for The Classical Academy, they will venture away from home to square off against Canon City at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Canon City will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something The Classical Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
