Englewood's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kevon Roulhac, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Roulhac has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Jalen Scarver, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and two blocks.
ED White's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ty Vincent, who scored nine points along with two steals. Keith Godboldt was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Englewood has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-11 record this season. As for ED White, their victory bumped their record up to 6-12.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Englewood won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Fletcher at 7:00 p.m. on January 25th. Hopefully Fletcher focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten last Monday. As for ED White, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Clay at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
