The Calhoun Yellow Jackets were the 53-52 winner over the Harrison Hoyas when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Calhoun was the victim of a tough 73-49 defeat at the hands of Harrison on Saturday. Calhoun has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
When it comes to explaining why Calhoun lost, one person who can't be blamed is Emaree Winston. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jace Johns, who scored 8 points.
Calhoun's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Harrison, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.
Calhoun will head out on the road to face off against Excel Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Harrison, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Kennesaw Mountain at 7:30 p.m. on December 5th.
