Pike County Central won against East Ridge on Thursday with 13 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Hawks beat the Buckhorn Wildcats by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 13-3. The result was nothing new for the Hawks, who have now won 11 games by ten runs or more so far this season.

Pike County Central is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Buckhorn, with the loss, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-14.
