Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Shining Light Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Alik Lewis, who scored 25 points. Lewis is absolutely dominating the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Jayden Adams, who scored 15 points along with four steals.
Shining Light Academy's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 82.3 points per game. As for Community Baptist, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.
Shining Light Academy won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Atkins at 3:00 p.m. on January 20th.
