Sterling's defense stepped up to hand Twin Peaks Charter Academy a 6-0 shutout on Monday. Isaac Perez had to tread lightly for part of the match after he was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble the Tigers got from the refs.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Roosevelt was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor Weld Central could gain the upper hand on Friday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.
