The Normal West Wildcats scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Wauconda 86-53 on the road. That 33 points margin sets a new team best for Normal West this season.
Normal West had a senior duo take command as Isaiah Robinson dropped a double-double on 11 points and 14 assists and Nate Moore scored 18 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Taylor Hafermann, who scored ten points along with six rebounds.
The victory makes it two in a row for Normal West and bumps their season record up to 7-13. As for Wauconda, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-6.
Normal West will take on Fremd at 2:30 p.m. on Monday. Fremd presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Normal West in Illinois (Fremd is ranked 104th, while Normal West is ranked 214th). As for Wauconda, they will head out on the road to take on Rolling Meadows at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rolling Meadows has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 253 points over their last four games.
