Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous four match, Edgemont brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They put the hurt on Mount Vernon with a sharp 11-2 win on Thursday. Richard Fawcett was incredible, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Will Terrasi, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Edgemont's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Tuckahoe has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .432. It's a different story for Edgemont, though, as they've only averaged .326. Will they be able to contain Tuckahoe's hitters?
Tuckahoe came out on top in a nail-biter against Edgemont in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, sneaking past 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
