The Eagle Mustangs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They put the hurt on Borah with a sharp 61-40 victory. The win was just what Eagle needed coming off of a 75-36 defeat in their prior contest.
Paige Cofer was her usual excellent self, scoring 23 points along with seven rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Eagle's points. Another player making a difference was Berkley Jones, who scored 14 points.
The victory got Eagle back to even at 5-5. As for Borah, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-2.
Eagle will head out on the road to face off against Capital at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Capital is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. Borah will be home for the holidays to greet Kuna at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Kuna is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
