After a dominant victory in their game last Friday, Bracken County were humbled on Friday. They were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap, as they fell 20-26 to Nicholas County. That makes it the first time this season Bracken County have let down their home crowd.
Bracken County's loss pushes them down to 5-4. Nicholas County's win brought them up to 7-2.
After their clash against one another, the teams are taking a break from conference action in their upcoming games. Bracken County will take on Owen County at home at 7:30 PM next week. Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest. As for Nicholas County, they will face off against Bath County. Nicholas County will be strutting in after a win while Bath County will be stumbling in from a defeat.
