Even though the Bayshore Bruins scored an imposing 61 points on Tuesday, the Parrish Community Bulls still came out on top. Parrish Community snuck past Bayshore with a 65-61 victory. That's another feather in the cap for Parrish Community, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Parrish Community to victory, but perhaps none more so than Miles Fetterman, who scored 16 points along with five steals. Those five steals set a new season-high mark for Fetterman. The team also got some help courtesy of Malakai Cuffy, who scored 13 points along with seven assists.
Bayshore lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Demetrios Kimon, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds. The game was Kimon's eighth in a row with at least ten points. Keshawn Parhm was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five assists and three steals.
The victory makes it two in a row for Parrish Community and bumps their season record up to 6-2. As for Bayshore, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Parrish Community will take on IMG Academy Black at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. IMG Academy Black comes in still looking for their first win of the season. Bayshore won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Palmetto at 7:30 p.m. on December 13th. Palmetto has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 324 points over their last five contests.
