The Kecoughtan Warriors were the 24-14 winner over the Menchville Monarchs when they last played one another back in September of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Kecoughtan fell to Menchville 27-23. Kecoughtan has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Menchville can attribute much of their success to Ladarius Adams, who rushed for 231 yards while picking up 11.0 yards per carry.
Kecoughtan's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Menchville, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 6-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kecoughtan will face off against Maury at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th. Maury will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line. As for Menchville, they will head out on the road to face off against Warwick at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th. Warwick presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Menchville in Virginia (Warwick is ranked 19th, while Menchville is ranked 113th).
