College Station's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Bellville with a sharp 5-0 victory. Considering the Cougars have won five games by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Bellville with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kevin Alvarado (2), Mason Green, Ariel Gildin, and Tomas Dominguez.

Meanwhile, Brenham came up short against Elgin on Tuesday and fell 3-1. The Cubs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

College Station pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those five contests. As for Brenham, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Everything went College Station's way against Brenham in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, as College Station made off with a 6-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for College Station since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
