With a playoff win on the line, Chiefland rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They blew past the Bronson Eagles 56-21. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 matches by 22 points or more this season.
Chiefland found their leader in sophomore Nyasia Bivins, who posted 24 points in addition to eight boards and eight steals. Bivins is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last six games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brianna Bell, who earned ten points and eight steals.
Chiefland's win bumped their record up to 19-5. As for Bronson, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-9.
Chiefland will take on Wildwood on Thursday. Wildwood will roll in looking for their 20th straight victory, something Chiefland surely won't give up without a fight. Bronson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
