Liberty is 1-9 against Doherty since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Liberty Lancers will head out on the road to face off against the Doherty Spartans at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
After a string of seven wins, Liberty's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They had to suffer through a rough 72-44 loss at the hands of Pine Creek. Despite their defeat, Liberty saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Jacie Bunck, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyssa Gardner, who scored 12 points.
Meanwhile, Doherty's 19-7 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They took a serious blow against Cherry Creek on Thursday, falling 58-26.
