The Ewing Blue Devils will head out on the road to face off against the Holy Cross Lancers at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Ewing knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past five matches -- so hopefully Holy Cross likes a good challenge.
Even though Nottingham scored an imposing 56 points on Monday, Ewing still came out on top. Ewing walked away with a 63-56 win over Nottingham.
Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 22-22 at halftime, Holy Cross was not quite Medford Tech's equal in the second half on Monday. Holy Cross fell just short of Medford Tech by a score of 46-44. While losing is never fun, Holy Cross can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 290th, while Medford Tech is ranked 69th).
Ewing is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. As for Holy Cross, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10.
