Aragon Posts Huge Game in 40-0 Win
Starting off the list is Dove Creek's Nicholas Aragon, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Aragon made 12 total tackles.
If the past is any indication, Aragon could be in store for another big game when he takes on Sargent on Friday. Aragon picked up three sacks and made seven total tackles the last time he and the Farmers duked it out back in October of 2023.

Sanford's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-3. Gartrell and Sanford will face off against Dolores at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.

Owen Tackett Has Career Rushing Day
Owen Tackett posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 175 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making three total tackles and defending two passes.
Norwood pushed their record up to 3-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Tackett and Norwood will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Dolores at 7:00 p.m. on November 1st.

Brycen Rummel's Rushing Yards a New Career-High
Brycen Rummel posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 132 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries, and also threw for 84 yards and a touchdown.
This season, Rummel has thrown 14 touchdowns while averaging 166.7 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after seven games last season, he had three rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to six.

Brandon Vannest Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Mancos picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Brandon Vannest. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (101.1). He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last three games he's played.
