Beverly has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will take on the Peabody Veterans Memorial Tanners at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Last Friday, Beverly came up short against Marblehead and fell 69-60. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game last Tuesday (59), Beverly still had to take the loss.
Meanwhile, Peabody Veterans Memorial put the finishing touches on their eighth blowout victory of the season on Monday. They breezed by Danvers on the road to the tune of 71-44. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Peabody Veterans Memorial has posted yet this season.
Beverly now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Peabody Veterans Memorial, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.
Beverly lost to Peabody Veterans Memorial on the road by a decisive 71-57 margin in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. Can Beverly avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
