It's playoff time, and Caston had no trouble coming through when it counted. They took down the DeMotte Christian Knights 48-30  on Tuesday. The  victory was nothing new for the Comets as they're now sitting on seven straight.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Caston to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Lane Hook, who  posted 13 points along with six  boards and five  steals. The dominant performance gave  Hook a new career-high in  steals.  Logan Mollenkopf was another key player,  putting up 16  points.
 Caston was working as a unit and  finished the game with ten  assists. They are 11-5 when  they've passed the ball that well.
 DeMotte Christian lost  despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was   Titus Terpstra, who  earned six points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Tony Bos, who  went 5-for-12  to rack up 13  points and eight  rebounds.
Caston's record is now 13-10. As for DeMotte Christian,  they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 9-15.
 Caston has already played their next game,  a  59-52  loss against West Central on the 7th. DeMotte Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
