Gunner Ruppert Crosses Big Stat Threshold

Starting off the list is Greenwood's Gunner Ruppert, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Ruppert rushed for 238 yards and four touchdowns. Thanks to that strong showing, he's now averaging 2.1 rushing touchdowns per game. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 52 yards.

On the season, Ruppert has run in 19 touchdowns while averaging 173.3 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 9.89 rushing yards per game.

Decatur Central Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Brycen Bonawitt

Brycen Bonawitt was instrumental in extending Decatur Central's winning streak to seven on Friday. Bonawitt did his part (and then some), picking up 12 receiving yards and a touchdown for the 'W'.

Decatur Central pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Bonawitt and Decatur Central will face off against East Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

AJ Reynolds and Co. Win Third in a Row

AJ Reynolds's big game helped extend Martinsville's winning streak to three on Friday. Reynolds was unstoppable, throwing for 185 yards and three touchdowns on only 16 passes, while also rushing for 51 yards and a touchdown.

On the year, Reynolds has thrown 35 touchdowns while averaging 233.8 passing yards per game.

Levi Reuter Delivers Best Effort of Season

Levi Reuter produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Martinsville to the win on Friday. Reuter wasn't messing around, picking up a sack, forcing a fumble, and making 13 total tackles. The matchup was his 11th straight with five or more total tackles.

This year, Reuter has averaged 7.9 total tackles per game and for the season has those 1 sack.

Lucas Dewey Has Career-Day on Friday

Lucas Dewey posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 102 rushing yards.
