Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Gate City beat Union 43-38 two weeks ago. The win was just what Gate City needed coming off of a 68-28 defeat in their prior contest.
John Battle's victory bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Gate City, their win bumped their record up to 3-7.
