Softball Recap: Mcqueen Has No Trouble Against Reno

McQueen had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 12-run drubbing they dealt Reno on Friday. The Lancers were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over the Huskies. The game marked the Lancers' most dominant victory of the season.

McQueen got a massive performance out of Vanessa Bein, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and two doubles. That's the most doubles Bein has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Lilly Fanene, who went 3-for-4 with four runs, one stolen base, and one double.

McQueen always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .630. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

McQueen's record is now 17-13. As for Reno, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 21 of their last 22 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 1-28-1 record this season.

McQueen will have a chance to go back-to-back against Reno: the pair will be back at it again later today.
