Briarcrest Christian won against Arrowhead Christian last Saturday with seven runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. Briarcrest Christian walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Bartlett Panthers. The win was nothing new for the Saints as they're now sitting on three straight.
Christian Rose looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (three).
On the hitting side, Landon Rogers was excellent, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2024. Luke McGee also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
The victory got Briarcrest Christian back to even at 6-6. As for Bartlett, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-5-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Briarcrest Christian will challenge Providence Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bartlett, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Bartlett Panthers take on Brighton Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Brighton will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Bartlett surely won't give up without a fight.
